Goatburner est l’un des multiples projets de Keijo Niinimaa (ici renommé en « Kaos »), vocaliste finlandais réputé de Rotten Sound, Morbid Evils ou Age Of Woe, accompagné ici par le batteur « Spider » (aussi actif chez Skulmagot et Ratface). Sortant quatre ans après un premier album (Extreme Conditions), ce Fatal annonce mixer grindcore et death metal avec un son à l’ancienne, alléchant.
